Hero Camp

Unleash your inner hero! Join us for a week of adventure, learning, and heroism at our Spring Break Hero Camp. Over the course of the week we'll explore the lives of legendary heroes throughout history. Each day, campers will learn about a different heroic figure - from trailblazing leaders and explorers to inspiring activists and thinkers. Through Socratic discussions, they’ll discover the character traits that empowered these seemingly ordinary humans to lead extraordinary lives. Campers will also engage in hands-on activities inspired by the heroes’ accomplishments, from problem-solving challenges to creative projects. In the afternoons, they’ll enjoy free time along our scenic riverside campus, where they can explore the river, create forts, and have fun outdoors with new friends. Come celebrate history’s greatest heroes and uncover the hero within you!

Choose Your Own Adventure

In honour and acknowledgement of the immeasurable importance of true, free, unstructured play - absent of adult itineraries or interjections - we wanted to offer something radically different; a "Choose Your Own Adventure Camp". This will be a week of fun, collaboration, creativity, and freedom within clear safety boundaries. Children will be free to choose from crafts, artistic endeavours, boardgames, books, magnatiles, lego, and a well-stocked library. On our beautiful, private riverside campus they can also opt to spend time outdoors in nature, exploring the river's edge, building forts, or erecting elaborate structures in our large, outdoor loose parts play area. If weather permits, we will also be scheduling a half-day at Maffeo Sutton park, a short walk from our location. With the abundance of choice that awaits them, and the freedom to choose their adventure, the question is...which will they choose first??
